Before attending law school, she earned her Master’s Degree in Higher Education with a focus on Student Affairs. She worked on college campuses in student life as a student organization and Greek life advisor, and as a hearing officer and director of student conduct administration.
Brandi attended the University of Tennessee College of Law, and her clerkship with the District Attorney’s Office ignited her passion for the practice of criminal law. After graduating from law school, she worked at the law firm of Banks & Jones in the area of criminal defense for almost 4 years.

Brandi is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the DUI Defense Lawyers Association.
Brandi grew up in West Texas, and attended college and graduate school at Texas Tech University. In her free time, Brandi volunteers with her dog, Foxy, who is a therapy dog for the program Human Animal Bond in Tennessee. She serves on the Survivorship Committee at the University of Tennessee Cancer Institute, and also enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors.
